Christine Edzard
Little Dorrit, 1988, a six-hour, two part adaptation of the Charles Dickens novel with 242 speaking roles, produced by Edzard's husband Richard Goodwin in their warehouse base in Rotherhithe, London. Starting in the autumn of 1985, principal photography lasted the best part of a year. Director of photography: Bruno de Keyzer.
The Fool, 1990, another Victorian costume drama, with an original screenplay based on the oral histories recorded by Henry Mayhew in London between 1848 and 1861 for his book London Labour and The London Poor. Director of photography: Robin Vidgeon.
